Open call, 2019

In this project we collaborated with Garth Arts in Health to respond to an Open Call brief for a piece of artwork to go on permanent exhibition at St Woolos hospital, Newport. The brief was to create artwork that celebrated the positive impacts the NHS has had on individuals and society and consider what healthcare may look like in the future. The work is to provide rich points of interest from those who use the hospital spaces- patients, staff, families and visitors. 

As a group we held a workshop to gather stories and opinions on the NHS from local peoples and individuals that use the hospital. This was my response to the brief:
